We’re seeking a leader in Psychology to help lead our growing R&D and data science team as we invent scientific approaches to connect today’s talent to the future roles of tomorrow.

This role is an opportunity to work in unchartered territory, taking ownership and designing new scientific instruments and real-world scientific applications from scratch. You will need statistical expertise and be capable of delivering or collaborating with data scientists to deliver solid models that can be created into products. Successful candidates will be able to think big, define ambiguous problems, and deliver scalable scientific solutions, while upholding our deeply-held values of pioneering science with courage and scientific excellence.

What you’ll be doing every day:

  • Leading the development of new psychological tools and experiments to push the needle forward of our product and R&D efforts

  • Engage with C-suite and VP level executives at global enterprise companies to present and explain scientific findings and key concepts

  • Collaborate with Scoutible’s game designers and developers on current and future products

  • Lead the conception and execution of strategic R&D partnerships with academic, private, and nonprofit institutions

  • Dive into existing and pitch new data sources (business, people, finance, role data, etc), as well as effectively align scientific rigor and real-world feasibility

  • Mentor and coach Scoutible's growing scientific team and present findings to internal stakeholders

  • Contribute to a culture of comradery, continuous learning, and scientific excellence

About you:

  • PhD in psychology, with a focus on personality, I/O, assessment or related

  • Proficiency in statistics and/or machine learning and predictive modeling

  • Strong team player: able to collaborate with ease across different functions in a nonacademic setting

  • You have executive presence and strong written and verbal communication skills – able to easily articulate scientific concepts in a 1:1 setting or in front of 200+ business leaders

  • You are passionate about pioneering real world psychological interventions

Bonus Points:

  • Familiarity with the human resources function or HR tech space is a huge asset

  • Familiarity with artificial intelligence concepts and applications is a bonus
